While getting ready to leave the Poconos after helping a friend prepare her home in the Poconos for the winter. I was driving down a narrow road when I came across this freshly cut wood from some tall trees in the areas. Like most homes in the area they rely heavily on fireplaces and have large pieces of land where they can cut down their own supply of firewood for the winter months. I thought this would make a great seasonal photo, so I pulled my car to the side of the road and took a couple of photos of the firewood piled on top or each other surrounded by plenty of autumn grass, leaves and bushes.
