On a spur of the moment before heading home I thought I would take advantage of the mild winter we have been experiencing here on Long Island. So I grabbed my camera from my car and went to the beach front right in Freeport located on the south shore of Long Island. The sky was a dark blue with the waves small and gently rolling in, but the sun was still so bright and was given off powerful rays that it was lighting up the whole Atlantic Ocean, and leading right up to the beach. I positioned myself right where I could capture the horizon and the sun setting and having its rays leading right from the Atlantic Ocean to the beach. I took several photos and this became my favorite for my website.
