As I was leaving getting ready to leave a section of Freeport, NY located on the south shore of Long Island I was heading towards my car when I came across this beautiful winter sunset. I grabbed my camera knowing I only had minutes before the sun would have gone behind the horizon. I got to the end of the strip called the Nautical Mile and was able to capture the sun setting on the horizon and giving off colors of orange, yellow and a light blue. In addition, between me and the sun was some boats, docks and pilings that I was able to capture in a silhouette imagery along with the calm Atlantic Ocean inlet water.
