On a gorgeous 68 degree day in January of 2020 I went down to Long Beach to get some shots of the rough waves coming in from the winter's winds which were pretty powerful that day. But between the sun shining so brightly and the weather in the 60's it was a nice pleasant day out. I stayed at Long Beach taking various photos of the waves crashing in, until the sun began to set and the winds began to get stronger. As I began to leave I turned and saw this beautiful site as I was lined up perfectly with the sun setting on the horizon and between me and the sun setting was a jetty that I captured in a beautiful silhouette image. The sun's rays were powerful and I did not even have to move as it seemed like the sun was following me and I just stood there and took this photo of the sun's rays reflecting off of the Atlantic Ocean and onto Long Beach.
